Laura Walsh

CIO Culligan
Laura Walsh sets and executes the strategic vision for Culligan’s International’s global technology and security functions. With more than twenty years of global IT and business transformation experience, she has served in key leadership roles at multiple Fortune 500 companies, public and privately held, primarily in the manufacturing and consumer goods industries. She has supported operating models spanning vertically integrated to wholly decentralized.
Prior to Culligan, Laura elevated advanced analytics and automation capabilities to fuel efficient operating models, implemented large scale technology transformations, and strengthened security and governance while serving as CIO at Smithfield Foods, Carlisle Companies, Lydall and Unimin Corporation. She also played a key role in driving technology rationalization and significant synergy attainment throughout The Stanley Works acquisition of Black & Decker.
Laura is passionate about unlocking value-creation stories around technology investments with her teams. Presently, she serves as the Chair of the TBM Council, a community of CIOs and CFOs who work together to ensure technology investments achieve maximum value. She served as an Adjunct Professor with a focus on business information systems at Southern Connecticut State University for eight years. Laura holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a BS in Management Information Systems from Western Connecticut State University
