Julie Bort

Julie Bort is TechCrunch’s venture capital and startups editor, running a team of reporters who cover the heart-blood of the tech industry: young and growth-stage, VC-backed companies. Prior to this role, Bort was a reporter and editor at Business Insider and at Foundry, back in the years when it was called IDG. She’s the author of two books (one on parenting and one on technology). When she’s not working, she can probably be found mountain biking or skiing on the trails of her home state, Colorado.
