Zeeshan Tariq

Zeeshan Tariq was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Zimmer Biomet in July 2016 and is a member of the executive leadership team. He is responsible for all aspects of the global digital strategy and business transformation through technology.

Prior to joining Zimmer Biomet, Mr. Tariq spent 18 years at Medtronic, where he served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Medtronic, he worked in the management consulting, systems consulting and banking industries.

Mr. Tariq’s academic qualifications include postgraduate education from Harvard Business School, an MBA from the Carlson School of Management and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Economics and Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska.
