Tony Saint is the Senior Director of the IT Information Security Cyber Defense organization. A career IT and Information Security professional, Tony is known for being an influential leader who develops high-performing teams.
Tony is responsible for connecting a 100+ person organization within IT to the vision and objectives of the Information Security team’s mission to reduce cyber risk for Intel. Leveraging a strong IT operations and leadership background, he recently established a new, collaborative team operating model, based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). His team defines key cyber security controls on over 1.6M assets to identify, protect, and remediate vulnerability risks, provides Application Security controls and Red Teaming. Partnering with business and executives, Tony seeks alignment on roadmaps and plans to execute critical compliance actions.
In 2021, Tony was instrumental in forming and leading a team of over 300 cross-organizational Intel professionals all focused on an enterprise cyber risk reduction program visible at the Intel Board of Directors level. Under Tony’s leadership, the team greatly improved cyber visibility to all network connected assets for the first time, achieved a 98% cyber compliance rate across Intel’s applications portfolio, and instantiated or strengthened sustaining controls to maintain a low cyber risk posture for the enterprise.
Tony brings a unique and global perspective to his role. Having spent his early career working as an IT professional in the UK and well over a decade recently as a senior Information Security leader in the US, he works closely with Intel employees and executives across the totality of Intel’s business units to ensure optimum security and a positive relationship with IT.
