Tom is the Head of Security Operations & Intelligence for National Highways since July 2022. Prior to this Tom served in the British Army in a variety of roles and operational environments. Tom’s last assignment saw him as the Army’s Principal Security Adviser providing technical operational security advice, risk management, incident response and resilience functions across the Army’s global footprint. Tom is a Chartered Security Professional and was in the 2024 cohort of NextCSO award winners and was nominated by Security Journal (UK) as one of the 25 security ‘influencers’ for 2025.
