Tim Ryan is an accomplished executive IT leader with over 30 years of experience in healthcare. As the Chief Information Officer at Aegis Sciences Corporation since 2017, Tim has been instrumental in driving technological innovation and strategic IT initiatives. His leadership was pivotal during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he oversaw the scaling of systems to support over 14.5 million PCR tests.  Tim received the coveted CIO 100 award based on Aegis’ ability to meet the exponential COVID demand.  Tim’s strategic thinking and results-oriented approach have transformed Aegis’s IT organization into a proactive, high-performing entity.

Before joining Aegis, Tim served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Solution Delivery at Miraca Life Sciences, Inc. There, he led significant advancements in customer connectivity and business process improvements, reorganizing the department to enhance skillsets, productivity, and business alignment. His efforts included the successful implementation of innovative, strategic customer-focused software.

Tim’s career at Quest Diagnostics, Inc. spanned two decades, where he held various leadership roles, including Executive Director of Connectivity Delivery and Support. He directed the worldwide delivery and support of Quest Diagnostics’ external-facing connectivity suite of products, achieving significant cost savings and productivity improvements. His strategic initiatives included the creation and implementation of a three-year connectivity delivery and support strategy roadmap and the successful integration of acquired companies’ connectivity departments.

Throughout his career, Tim has demonstrated exceptional skills in leadership, strategic planning, market awareness, and operational excellence. He has a proven track record of building high-performing, innovative organizations with sustainable capabilities. His primary focus areas include creating compelling strategies, delivering applicable solutions, improving productivity, and increasing employee engagement. Tim’s ability to drive an intrapreneurial mindset and seamlessly navigate between strategic and tactical initiatives has established him as a key figure in the IT community.

Tim holds an MBA in Management/Information Technology from St. Peter’s College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Muhlenberg College. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
