Tim Martin

CTO Audible

Tim Martin is the Chief Technology Officer of Audible, the leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling. Tim has been CTO since 2020 and is responsible for all aspects of Audible’s global technology organization. Tim joined Audible as VP of Technology and General Manager of the Cambridge, MA office in 2014, and relocated to Global Headquarters in Newark, NJ in 2016 as SVP, Technology. During his tenure leading Audible’s Consumer Technology team he helped build an organization that has pioneered innovative audio experiences through nearly 4 billion hours of content offered to millions of listeners worldwide. Under Tim’s stewardship, Audible transformed its audio experience and delighted customers with advancements in Machine Learning, Alexa Voice Technology and achieving 5-star customer ratings on Audible mobile applications, while operating through an AWS tech stack at Amazon retail scale. Tim is the Executive Sponsor of Audible Women in Tech and a champion of Spectrum & Belonging programs across Audible and Amazon. Prior to joining Audible, he led two technology organizations through periods of global growth, most recently as Vice President of Software Development for Vistaprint and prior to that as Director of Technology for Sapient. He has a BA in Computer Science from Harvard University.
