Teri Eckman

Teri Eckman is Executive Director of Student Information Systems at UC Riverside, where she leads a team focused on the technology that powers student experiences — from enrollment services to student success.
Her work centers on building systems that are seamless, equitable, and increasingly intelligent, with a focus on incorporating AI in ways that genuinely improve how students and staff interact with university services.

Teri co-founded UCR’s Women in Technology (WIT) chapter and serves on the UC system-wide Womxn in Technology Committee, where she works to build community and create more equitable pathways for women in tech across the UC. She holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Sociology — a combination that keeps people at the center of every technology decision
