
Stuart Wright was made Chief Technology Officer of SEGA Europe in 2018. In this role, he leads the technology strategy across SEGA’s European publishing operations, overseeing AI and data, digital platforms, cybersecurity, live operations, and technology governance across a complex multi studio estate.
He has led the modernisation of SEGA’s technology foundations, establishing scalable Data platforms and embedding AI to support decision making, operational efficiency, and long term business growth. His work focuses on aligning technology investment with creative and commercial outcomes, enabling the organisation to operate with greater speed, resilience, and strategic clarity.
Stuart is recognised for leading technology as a strategic partner to the business, with a strong emphasis on governance, risk, and building platforms that create long term optionality. He has extensive experience working at board level on technology investment, assurance, and transformation.
Beyond SEGA, Stuart serves as an Independent Governor at the University of West London, where he sits as Deputy Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. He is also Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees at Ruskin College Oxford. In these roles, he advises on digital strategy, risk management, and institutional sustainability.
