Steven E Zerby is the retired senior vice president and chief information officer of Owens Corning, a world leader in insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composites manufacturing. Currently Mr. Zerby is an executive advisor to the CEO at TVS Next.

As part of a 30+ year career evaluating, selecting, and deploying enterprise technology and building award-winning teams, Mr. Zerby led the Global Information Services organization which included all Owens Corning information, cybersecurity, analytics, digital, and advanced manufacturing technology, across 33 countries, since his appointment in
2013.

Previously at Owens Corning, Mr. Zerby served as the vice president of application technology and Europe information technology.

Prior to Owens Corning, Mr. Zerby had 14 years of experience in the integrated oil and gas industry at Marathon Oil and technology at NCR Corporation.

Externally, Mr. Zerby has been recognized by Computerworld as one of the 100 premier IT leaders in the US, the annual CIO magazine “CIO 100” award, and has led Owens Corning to being named as Computerworld’s #1 large Best Places to Work in IT in 2019 and 2021.

In 2019, Bold Business named Mr. Zerby as one of the top 20 US CIOs and Constellation Research has named Mr. Zerby one of its 150 Transformational Executives on 2 occasions. Mr. Zerby was a final four finalist for Michigan CIO of the Year in 2020 and Ohio CIO of the year in 2021.

In 2022, Forbes named Mr Zerby to its Forbes CIO 50 list, recognizing 50 top tech leaders redefining the CIO role.

Mr. Zerby earned his business administration degree in management information systems from Bowling Green State University and has completed executive education at Babson College and Harvard University.
