Varun Iravatham

Varun is the CEO of NopalCyber and draws on more than 15 years of experience as a cybersecurity executive to lead strategy and optimize execution at NopalCyber. Before joining NopalCyber, Varun was the VP and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at QuisLex, a leading alternate legal services provider. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Management from Syracuse University, USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, India. He also participated in the yearlong Leadership Program for Senior Executives from The Indian School of Business (ISB).

With a diverse education and career spanning the entire cybersecurity ecosystem, Varun brings a wealth of experience to his leadership role and unique perspectives gained from more than a decade on the front lines of digital defense, learning how to deliver innovative solutions that maximize client success and ROI. For this self-described “security-obsessed” CEO, cyber risk is a constant concern, but when not at work, Varun enjoys cricket, playing live music, and traveling.
