Sajan Paul

Sajan Paul is the General Manager for HPE Networking in India, bringing over three decades of leadership experience across the telecom and networking industry. In this role, he is responsible for driving business strategy, execution, and growth for HPE’s networking portfolio in the country.
Previously, Sajan served as Managing Director and Country Manager for Juniper Networks across India and SAARC, where his responsibilities included regional strategy, P&L management, sales execution, and team leadership. He joined Juniper Networks in 2011 and, over the course of his tenure, held multiple leadership roles across engineering and sales functions, including Director of Systems Engineering and Head of Enterprise Sales.
During his time at Juniper, Sajan worked closely with telecom operators, large enterprises, and public sector organizations, including government, defence, and education institutions, to support the modernization of network infrastructure. His experience spans networking, telecommunications, cloud computing, and enterprise technology deployments.
In his current role at HPE Networking India, Sajan focuses on advancing AI-driven and intelligent networking solutions to support digital transformation initiatives across industries.
Prior to Juniper, Sajan held senior roles at Cisco Systems as Vice President – Systems Engineering for the IT/ITeS vertical, and has also worked with Nortel and Avaya at various stages of his career.
Sajan holds an engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from the Vellore Institute of Technology, along with additional professional qualifications. His interests include music, travel, and philosophy. His leadership is anchored in purpose, passion, and principles, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, partnership, and alignment of vision.
