Sajan Paul

Area Vice President & Country Manager, India & SAARC, Juniper Networks

With overall leadership of the India & SAARC region for Juniper Networks, Sajan’s responsibilities include driving the company’s long-term strategy and vision in the region, managing P&L operations and sales execution, all with a priority on building and developing world-class teams with an emphasis on diversity.

In his role, Sajan draws from over 30 years of experience across integral elements of the telecom and networking industry. During his Juniper tenure, he has led both Engineering and Sales teams for India & SAARC, allowing him to offer a unique blend of deep technical expertise alongside astute sales leadership.

This has allowed him to elevate the company as a key player in building out world-class networking infrastructure in the region, leveraging the company’s expertise across networking technology into transformative enablers solving complex, real-world business issues for sectors ranging from the largest telecoms to enterprises across the Government, Defence, Education sectors and more.

With his deep interest and passion for Information Technology and the telecom sector, Sajan has a natural ability to distil highly technical concepts into digestible nuggets for a wider audience, making him a highly sought-after thought leader for industry and media engagements, as India and the region continues its digital transformation journey.

Prior to joining Juniper, Sajan worked with Cisco Systems as Vice President – Systems Engineering – IT/ITeS for over a year. He has also worked with Nortel, Avaya etc. during various stages in his career.

Sajan holds an engineering degree in electronics and communications from the Vellore Institute of Technology apart from several other job specific qualifications.

His hobbies include music, travel and a deep interest in philosophy and related existential topics.
