Jyothirlatha B

Jyothirlatha is the Chief Technology Officer of Godrej Capital. She is a digital and technology strategist with deep expertise in building and implementing technology solutions.

She has 25+ years of experience in technology in strategizing and executing large digital transformation programs predominantly in Banking and Financial Services domain. Hailing from a software development background, she has a strong track record of building and nurturing stable systems spreading across Housing Finance, Retail Core banking, Lending, Payments, Digital Channels, Mutual funds, Depository Services and Wealth & Private banking domains.

Jyothirlatha has completed Master of Engineering from Mumbai University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

Prior to joining Godrej Capital, she was the Chief Technology Officer at DHFL. In the past, she also been with brands like Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank, Vodafone etc.

During her tenure in TCS, she enabled several BFSI clients such as PNB, BOB, UBI, NSE, Stock Holding Corporation of India, Unit Trust Of India, to realise and enhance value through complex IT solutions.

Previously, as Technology Solutions Group Head in ICICI Bank, she enabled operational efficiency through technology enablement across the bank through multiple IT solutions. She headed internal engineering group for developing innovation initiatives, anchored organizational initiatives such as Robotics Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, NLP etc.  She was responsible for complete reengineering of business process management system for core banking, trade finance, corporate banking, payments and loan management products.

In her previous organisations, as a technology head of Vodafone M-pesa and Dewan Housing, she was responsible for payments bank setup and digital transformation along with ensuring scalable infrastructure and enterprise cyber security posture.

With over two decades of rich experience, has been conferred with several prestigious awards for her contributions in the field of technology and innovation.
