
Currently leading the Digital Enterprise vertical at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, he believes that true innovation happens at the intersection of cutting‑edge technology and open collaboration with a motto to create value for the organization and Joy of Mobility for consumers.
Over 34 years in the automotive sector, he has driven transformational programs across product and portfolio planning, design and development, supplier capability enhancement, cost management, and in the process helped elevate the R&D landscape of MSIL. His leadership played a pivotal role in advancing design capability of many auto component suppliers in India and in effective industry government collaboration in India’s landmark FAME‑I policy.
An alumnus of IIT Delhi he brings deep passion to engineering and technology management. His contributions have earned him the rare distinction of being elected as a Fellow of both the Indian National Academy of Engineering and the Society for Technology Management.
He chairs multiple national‑level bodies shaping India’s mobility future, including Digital Transformation & Connected Mobility Group – SIAM, India GRE Group – Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Auto Forum – SAEINDIA and member – CII National Coalition on Future Mobility.
With multiple granted patents, and research published globally in strategic technology management, xEV systems, and automotive policy, he exemplifies the power of curiosity, persistence, and purpose-driven innovation.
