Deepak Sharma

Deepak works as Board Member & CXO Advisor with several large & growth stage global & Indian
firms with special focus on Incubation & Growth of new business in Financial Services, AI & GenAI,
Cyber Security, SaaS, Fraud, Risk & Identity Management, Digital Transformation & Platforms. He
currently serves as Board member (Independent Director) at Experian Credit & Suryoday Small
Finance Bank (and chairs IT & Security Committee). He also works with select Private Equity Firms in
deal advisory space. He also invests in and mentor several startups, runs a podcast and is coauthoring a book on AI readiness.

Deepak has worked with one of the India’s leading Bank, Kotak Mahindra where he was instrumental
in starting & scaling Digital Initiatives at Kotak for over a decade and served as Bank’s first & longest
serving President & Chief Digital Officer. This included launching India’s first and largest Digital bank
– 811. He has also built several businesses with Standard Chartered Bank, Hutchison telecom etc.
Deepak Sharma is Globally connected in the tech and innovation realm; he’s highly regarded as a
preeminent figure in fintech and digital leadership. He has been closely associated with various
Indian & Global policy making thinktank, PE & VC firms, iSPIRT. Additionally, he engaged in numerous
trade and Government initiatives concerning the Digital India Roadmap and provided ongoing
mentorship to fintech and startup ecosystems.
