Sandra Castaneda

Sandra joined McCain Foods as a Software Engineer, in 2000. During her career at McCain, she has held multiple roles, leading technical teams through the completion of initiatives in the Data Warehousing and Analytic areas, and later on, managing numerous projects and programs with the Technology PMO.
In her current role, Sandra is responsible for overseeing the technology solutions that are part of the Integrated Supply Chain business areas. Her team owns the portfolio of technology products, leads the design, build and deployment of applications, and ensures the value realization of the investments in this space.
In 2017, Sandra was awarded the McCain prestigious award of “Best in Class Execution – Best in Class Employee of the Year”. Sandra is a Computer Science Engineer, and holds a Master degree from University of Andes in Bogota, Colombia. She also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the PMI Institute. She lives in Florenceville, NB with her husband, Carlos, and their two boys, David and Daniel.
