Ramona Ratiu is currently leading the Cyber Resilience Testing program for Zurich Insurance. For over a decade she focused on effective risk planning and cyber transformational projects.

With a background encompassing information security, governance, audit, risk management, and compliance, Ms. Ratiu has honed her expertise in developing and implementing technical and procedural solutions. These solutions facilitate stakeholders in achieving and sustaining compliance across various standards efficiently.

Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a Master of Science in Information Security and Compliance from DePaul University, Ms. Ratiu holds several prestigious certifications, including Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), GIAC GCCC and GSTRT.

She serves as an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University in Chicago, sharing knowledge with students in the area of IT Risk Management. Ms. Ratiu is accredited instructor by APMG, teaching several certification courses for ISACA and ISACA Chicago chapter.

Ms Ratiu led the ISACA Chicago Chapter for 4 years, driving the chapter to a higher level of maturity, with 5 consecutive global awards. She serves as a mentor for Chicago GROW mentorship program, as well as Professional mentor for TechWomen program focused on Emerging Leaders. She founded the “SheLeadsTech…with Expertise” program, dedicated to increasing women’s representation in technology leadership roles, a program recently awarded the Outstanding Achievement for Education & Innovation.

In 2023, Ms Ratiu was awarded the Inspirational Leadership Award for her inspiring work, education, mentorship, and guidance to advance current and future generations of technologists, and advocating for women worldwide.
