Rajesh Jethwa is a multi-award-winning Chief Technology Officer delivering tailor-made solutions for global enterprise organisations. Raj began his career at Lloyds Banking Group, where he specialised in engineering real-time and big data platforms across sales, trading, risk, and e-commerce. He later led front office technology for foreign exchange, money markets, and international payments, creating and managing platforms over a 10-year span. This role provided him with comprehensive expertise in the enterprise software lifecycle, spanning strategic management priorities to the development and operation of 24/7 mission-critical commercial banking platforms.
As CTO at Digiterre, Raj now consults with global financial services, energy, and commodities trading firms. He leads teams that tackle complex data and software engineering challenges and advises clients on enterprise agility, technology strategy, and digital transformation.
Raj holds an MSci in Computer Science from University College London (UCL) and has earned the prestigious title of Fellow of the British Computing Society. He has received multiple industry accolades for multi-year transformation work, including the Hedge Fund Services Awards (2018, 2019), the UK CIO 100 Award (2022, 2023, 2024), as well as the Global CIO 200 Award in 2025.
A dedicated mentor and accredited executive coach, Raj is passionate about shaping the next generation of technology leaders, with a focus on scaling teams, navigating complexity, and enabling impactful delivery. He frequently writes and speaks about high-performing engineering teams that deliver meaningful business outcomes. His book, “Transform!
