Raghu Gandhy

Raghu Gandhy is CISO at Veolia ANZ, part of Veolia’s Global Security council spread across 48 countries. Raghu has over 20 years of combined IT experience; he has worked in various industry verticals, including Retail, Technology, Media and Utilities. 

The experience gained from working in technical and management roles helps him have meaningful security-related conversations with technical/non-technical executives and boards to improve the organisational cybersecurity culture. 

A proponent of technology best practices and building robust security foundations, Raghu has developed a sound security architecture practice in multiple roles to support the organisation’s digital transformation journey.  

In his current role, Raghu has developed a security strategy to support continuous improvement of security posture supported by a team that strives to deliver critical services across the Water, Waste and Energy divisions. 

Raghu is an active member of various security communities and speaks at industry events at a national level to promote cyber security maturity.
