Peter Zakin

Peter Zakin is a Partner at Upfront Ventures, where he invests in early-stage companies building core technologies across developer tools, infrastructure, data, and AI. Peter joined Upfront after spending most of his career as a founder. Before Upfront, Peter co-founded Macro, a workflow automation company, and Hyper Travel, a corporate travel solution that was acquired by Tradeshift in 2016. Prior to Hyper Travel, Peter was an early employee at Venmo, where he worked as a software engineer and product manager. He graduated from Princeton University with degrees in Philosophy and Computer Science. He is also a former YC founder (Summer, 2010) and member of South Park Commons.
