Per Melker brings more than 20 years of experience of proven leadership, successful sales management, and a history of delivering on business objectives to his role as Group Vice President at IDC & CIO Executive Council.

Per has a solid track record of leadership in transforming businesses, with a particular focus on strategic planning, sales management, and bridging the IT and business dialog. Per is a frequent speaker at industry and vendor events.

Per joined IDC in 2013 as Managing Director for IDC Nordic based out of Stockholm Sweden. Prior to joining IDC, Per spent 6 years with IDC’s sister business unit, IDG, as a National Sales Director and Senior Director. He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
