Nirav Mehta

CTO Mastercard

Nirav Mehta is the Chief Technology Officer of Services at Mastercard. He leads the engineering and technology organization across Services, including data infrastructure, analytics platforms, core technology capabilities, and the teams that support Mastercard’s Services product groups. He is responsible for ensuring the technology foundation needed to support growth, scale innovation, and drive greater efficiency across the environment.

Before joining Mastercard, Nirav served as Group Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer, Corporate Engineering at the London Stock Exchange Group. In that role, he led global technology strategy, architecture, and execution for one of the world’s largest financial data and market infrastructure providers, with a strong focus on operating at scale and unlocking the value of data assets.

Nirav brings more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformation across health, education, media, telecommunications, and financial services. He also has deep expertise in regulated technology environments, multinational operations, and first- and second-line risk management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Villanova University, an MBA in Innovation and Business Transformation from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, and a Juris Doctor in Corporate and Intellectual Property Law from Rutgers Law School.

Outside of work, Nirav enjoys staying active, trying new experiences, and spending time with friends and family. He is also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan
