Foundry
Yogesh is the editorial director for events – India and META (Middle East, Turkey & Africa) for Foundry (an IDG, Inc. Company). In an earlier role spanning over seven years, he was the executive editor for Foundry, the world’s largest technology media, research and data services conglomerate. Today, he leads the content curation and moderates the events (in-person and virtual) for Foundry brands – CIO and CSO – in India. He is also involved with editorial content, video interviews for CIO.COM in India and Middle East.
Yogesh has been with Foundry (earlier IDG Communications) for over seventeen years. He hosts the annual awards and symposium programs in India including CIO100 Awards, CSO100 Awards and Premier100 (Channel) Awards, since over a decade. From 2024 onwards, he will be responsible to launch Foundry’s awards program – CIO100, CSO30, CIO50 – in META region.
A keynote speaker, social media influencer and knowledge enthusiast, Yogesh impacts the technologists’ community (CIOs, CSOs, CDOs, ITDMs, Channels) across the enterprise technology ecosystem in India and globally. In 2019, Yogesh was recognized as ‘Star Editor’ or ‘B2B Influential Editor’ from an elite list of 26 tech editors across IDG globally.
With over two decades of experience in the media industry including seventeen years at Foundry, he kick-started his journalism career with The Times of India (Bennet Coleman & Co.) in 2003. He later joined IDG as senior correspondent for weekly publication ChannelWorld in 2007. Yogesh holds a Computer Engineering degree from Mumbai University.
