
Lou Marich serves as CISO | Executive Director of Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and is responsible for coordinating and enhancing the districts cybersecurity program, working with local and federal agencies to prepare and remediate cyber-attacks, and helping to build a culture of cybersecurity district wide.
Lou has over 25 years of cybersecurity experience in multiple positions and disciplines securing various architecture frameworks in legal, healthcare, banking and the Federal Reserve System.
Lou is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) since 2004 and serves a co-chairman of the CMSD AI Policy committee working with district leadership implementing the State of Ohio mandates on student data safety, cybersecurity policy and AI platforms.
