Working at Stanford Medicine since graduating from college, Lisa has spent the last 20+ years in the Digital Information Solutions (Digi-IS) department, first at Stanford Health Care and currently at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. Lisa started her career at Stanford in nursing and worked her way up the nursing ranks from Staff Nurse to Nurse Manager. She also spent two semesters on the faculty at the University of San Francisco School of Nursing as a clinical instructor for junior-year nursing students. Recently, Lisa also served as a faculty member for the Clinical Informatics Leadership Bootcamp for the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).

In her current role as Vice President and Associate Chief Information Officer, Lisa leads a team of over 150 members managing all clinical, business, and revenue cycle applications, imaging systems, and web services across the enterprise, both inpatient and ambulatory. Lisa is the President-Elect on the board of Women in Healthcare Information Technology (WHIT), a volunteer organization dedicated to developing talent and supporting tomorrow’s female leaders in healthcare IT. As part of her role on the WHIT board, Lisa also serves as the Chair for WHIT’s Mentorship Program, designed to connect experienced healthcare IT leaders with women seeking career guidance, coaching, and advancement. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco (USF) and her Master of Science degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is a wife and mother of two daughters and serves her community as a board member and treasurer of the Mavericks Community Foundation, which this year helped raise over $1.6M for 66 non-profits on the Northern California coast.
