Lindsay Hannigan

Lindsay Hannigan is Chief Information Officer at the Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC), where she provides strategic technology leadership, aligning IT investment and capabilities with organisational strategy and long-term business priorities. She leads the development and execution of ICNARC’s IT strategy and three-year roadmap, overseeing technology operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications and transformation. Her role also encompasses strategic supplier management, building trusted partnerships that strengthen service delivery, improve operational efficiency and ensure technology delivers sustainable organisational value.

With more than 20 years’ experience leading complex technology and business transformation across the public and private sectors, Lindsay brings a strong track record of connecting technology strategy with business outcomes. Her experience spans healthcare research, insurance, pharmaceuticals, financial services, utilities and the public sector, with previous roles and projects involving organisations including Hiscox, Roche Diagnostics, RSA, EDF Energy, Southern Water and the University of Sussex. Combining board-level engagement, commercial acumen and a people-centred leadership style, she bridges the gap between business and technology, mobilising teams and partners to deliver complex programmes while balancing strategic ambition, cost discipline and operational performance.
