Kevin Shea

Vice President, Digital Surgery Platform Johnson & Johnson MedTech

Kevin Shea is an accomplished technology leader with a proven track record of value creation and achieving business results across the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Healthcare and MedTech industries through digital transformation initiatives, establishing scalable technology solutions and platforms, and building high performing teams.  Kevin is a purpose-driven leader and constant learner focused on using advancements in technology to solve business problems and create innovation solutions.

Currently, Kevin serves as a Vice President of Technology within J&J MedTech, where he is responsible for the Digital Surgery Platform program, overseeing platform ownership and driving value realization across J&J MedTech’s Business Units focused on Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiovascular and Vision.  Recent accomplishments include the establishment of our Digital Surgery Platform – a scalable, industrial grade edge-to-cloud digital platform which enables J&J MedTech’s ecosystem of connected medical devices, software solutions and heath data aimed at delivering hospital efficiencies, surgical insights, and improved patient outcomes.  Prior to this, Kevin led aspects of product management and delivery for a suite of innovative Digital Health solutions as part of Janssen Health Innovation.  Across J&J Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health segments, Kevin led various digital transformation efforts which established new digital capabilities that were effectively operationalized and scaled.

In his personal life, Kevin enjoys sports, traveling and enjoying time with his wife and their two daughters.  Kevin holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Computer Engineering degree from Villanova University.
