Katie Carty Tierney

Katie Carty Tierney is the Area Vice President for Sales Strategy in the Americas at BMC Helix. In this role, Katie works with Helix’s customers to help ensure that they understand and achieve significant business value from the adoption of game-changing technologies like HelixGPT and our fleet of autonomous AI Agents.

Katie has spent over 15 years in key leadership positions in Sales, Presales, and Product Strategy. During her time at Helix, Katie has provided guidance and hands-on support for hundreds of customers all over the world. Katie prides herself on her unwavering commitment to customer success, which drives her every day.

Katie’s thirty plus year career in IT spans sales leadership and strategy, technical sales, software development and architecture, and package implementation with companies such as Symphony SummitAI, WhiteHat Security, Forté Software, BSG Alliance/IT, and Sun Microsystems. She lives in San Francisco Township, Minnesota with her amazing husband and they have four grown children. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.
