Joel Raper

Chief Commercial Officer Unisys

Joel Raper is the Chief Commercial Officer for Unisys. In this role, he oversees sales and client management as the company’s go-to-market leader, driving business development. Previously, he served as the senior vice president and general manager of the Digital Workplace Solutions business unit, spearheading a team to create modern and differentiated end-user experiences to create client breakthroughs. Joel originally joined the company in 2021 through the UnifySquare acquisition.

Joel’s experience spans more than 20 years in technology solutions, and prior to joining Unisys, he was the chief operating officer and chief revenue officer for UnifySquare. While there, Joel progressed through several leadership roles during his five-year tenure and oversaw business development for the company’s consulting, managed service, and service integration initiatives. Throughout his
career, he has honed skills in operational excellence, alliance creation, team building, partnership programs and delivery to create meaningful revenue streams culminating in acquisition opportunities.

With extensive experience in matrixed organizations and ownership of financial performance, Joel has established a reputation for elevating sales organizations, expanding market share and achieving customer-centric outcomes to meet business imperatives. During his career, Joel has also held senior leadership roles at Avanade and Azaleos.

Joel received a Bachelor of Science degree in networking and telecommunications from the University of Phoenix.
