Jermaine Henson serves as the SVP, Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Claims & Operations, where he collaborates with the Chief Claims Officer and Chief Operations Officer to drive a comprehensive transformation of Claims and Operations for The Hartford. The objective of this role aims to enhance claim outcomes and deliver a world-class customer experience through the integration of cutting-edge technology, data, and digital capabilities.

Jermaine’s extensive experience includes roles such as Vice President of Application Development, Technology Delivery Executive, and Associate Vice President of IT Applications. In these positions, he has led software development services, implemented technology platforms for policy administration, customer acquisition, and underwriting, and managed solutions for service-oriented architecture, enterprise information management, and IT service management. Earlier in his career, Jermaine was the Director of IT Operations, overseeing data center operations to ensure the availability of critical business applications and IT systems.

Active in the technology community, Jermaine serves on the national board for Tech Corps. His leadership has been recognized through participation in programs such as Emerging Leaders, Quest Leadership Development, Leadership Matters, and the Insight Leadership Development Program.

Jermaine holds both an A.S. and B.S. degree from DeVry University, with dual majors in Management Information Systems and Business Management, and an MBA from Ashland University. He resides in Columbus with his wife, Summer, and their two children, Jermaine Jr. and Sydney.
