Jen is the VP Privacy Compliance at NRC Health. NRC Health has led the charge to personalize healthcare and support organizations in their understanding of each unique individual. NRC’s commitment to Human Understanding helps leading healthcare systems get to know each person they serve not as a point in time insight but as an ongoing relationship.
In this role, Jen is responsible for all aspects of cybersecurity (HITRUST/AI Security Certification), privacy (HIPAA), and governance risk and compliance (GRC). She and her team also support vendor management (Supply Chain Risk), contractual review (State and Federal Regulations and AI Data Governance and Risk Committee. She is also an active member in InfraGard, Women in Bio, where she presented on Allyship in STEM and Life Sciences | Events as well at HIMSS for Interoperability.
She is an adjunct Professor of 20+ years for RIT (eMBA Strategy, Liberal Art- Public Policy, Golisano- Cybersecurity and Ethics) and through Virginia’s Governor High School and the University of Virginia.
Jen has an eMBA, MS/BS in IT from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She also has a paralegal certificate from Stony Brook University, an advanced paralegal certificate in healthcare from Rice University. She has over 15 industry certifications from SANS, ISACA, IAPP, and Shared Assessments in AI, Audit, Security, Privacy, Risk, and Governance. She has also been a finalist/first place in Columbia University’s Business Plan Competitions, NY State Business Plan Competitions, and most recently, the CSO Award in AI Innovation through Foundry, Women We Admire Leadership in Healthcare Care Experience Management and D100, Inaugural Top 100 Deputy CISOs through CISO Connect.
In her spare time, Jen spends time with her three sons and their dogs Cody and Cody. As a family, we enjoy traveling to Disney, OBX, and NYC and hiking with our dogs.
