James is a technology leader with over 20 years of experience, primarily within the Financial Services sector. Known for driving transformative change and solving complex challenges, James is passionate about harnessing people & technology to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

He spent 12 years in Retail Banking, where he held several senior technology roles, including Head of Cloud, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing cloud strategies. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at M&G, James leads the Chief Technology Office, overseeing Architecture, Solutions, Engineering, and Operations. He has been instrumental in championing M&G’s Cloud Only strategy, positioning the organisation at the forefront of digital innovation.
