J. Lance French

Lance French is Senior Vice President of the Technology Office in Business Technology at Salesforce. In this role, he is responsible for enterprise architecture, portfolio/product management, data Services, Scaled Agile & Design, and Program/Change Management. His team drives business value through digital transformation, innovative architecture, product leadership, enablement and change management. Lance also serves as the Site Executive for Salesforce’s Dallas, Texas Hub.

Lance joined Salesforce in 2018, bringing with him an extensive track record in business unit leadership, innovation, and IT strategy. His 25+ years experience includes leading global, high-performing Finance and IT teams focused on strategy, execution, and delivery of customer value. Prior to joining Salesforce, Lance spent 20 years at BNSF Railway holding roles of AVP Technology Services supporting Transportation, Operations Marketing, Industry Processes, Human Resources, Data, Design and Finance.

In his personal life, Lance enjoys giving back to the community, family time, water sports, and English Bulldogs.
