Himanshu Polavarapu

Himanshu Polavarapu is Associate Vice President of AI & Enterprise Platforms at Verizon, providing architectural oversight, advancing the 1 Verizon Data strategy, and leading the Agentic AI Center of Excellence. A key driver of enterprise modernization, he authored the North Star Architecture steering Verizon Business Group’s three-year digital transformation. Over his tenure at Verizon, Himanshu transitioned from wireline foundation projects like Fios to revamping the retail telecom Winback program via end-to-end process automation. He has served as Chief Architect for pivotal network evolution initiatives, including Verizon Voice Link (Project Thunder), BHR3, and BOS across wireline and wireless domains. A 2010 VZ ISOP alumnus, Himanshu holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State and a B.E. from the University of Madras.
