Greg Skulmoski

PhD, MBA, BEd, CITP, FBCS

Greg Skulmoski has a long history in project management including standards development. He was one of the authors of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide, 2000) from the Project Management Institute and volunteered on other standards projects. He led technology projects and programs in Australia, the Middle East, and Canada. Greg’s project management successes won multiple awards including the CISO 2017 Middle East Security Award. Dr. Skulmoski currently teaches project management at Bond University in Australia. Greg has written award winning books including Shields Up: Cybersecurity Project Management (2022), Cybersecurity Training: A Pathway to Readiness (2023), Quantum Cybersecurity Program Management (2025, Amazon Top New Release), and Accelerated Quantum Technologies Change Management (2025 December). Greg was part of the Tasmanian Quantum Network team that won the Quantum Strategy Institute 2025 competition for their quantum strategy: From the Edge of the World, to the Forefront of Innovation. Dr. Skulmoski also won the Australian Institute for Project Management 2025 Research Award: “This award-winning research advanced the discipline of project management through rigorous methodology, insight, and practical relevance” (AIPM award commendation).
