Vice President, Digital Client Partner PGS and Enabling Functions Pfizer Digital Poster Program Representative

Doug is the Digital Client Partner for the Pfizer Global Supply division and the Enabling Functions including Finance, People Experience, Legal, Compliance and Global Business Services divisions.  In this role, he and his team are responsible to provide Digital thought leadership and client partnership, to define the digital strategy, digital transformation, and to manage the digital portfolio.  The global role is accountable for all of the Digital investments in the various divisions from infrastructure and Cyber threat remediation to Predictive analytics that drive operational improvements.

Before that, Doug was the Manufacturing BT leader for the Network Solutions BT group. In this role, he was the business partner responsible for delivering the full range of Business Technology capabilities to the PGS Global Supply Chain and Global External Supply organizations. In addition, he and his team are responsible for the on-going deployment and support of the Supply Chain Business Intelligence program, the Enterprise One program for small site and market ERP solution, the Network Orchestration BT activities, and supporting the Continuous Improvement efforts related to the network.

Prior to that role, Doug was the BioTech BT business partner responsible for the full range of BT solutions in the plant network. As with every leader that has been a part of the network, Doug lives the culture of BioTech for Life. Prior to this role, Doug was the Program director for the Global Manufacturing Execution System program and Global Quality and Laboratory programs where he was responsible for the deployment, support, and on-going improvements of the MES and Quality and Laboratory systems worldwide.

He began his career as a systems analyst involved in the startup of a world headquarters of a Pharma company where he was responsible for security, building automation, warehousing, and space management systems. He then moved onto leadership positions in the global deployments of SAP, LIMS, and Change Control processes. Doug holds a BS in Computer Science from W&L University.
