David’s great-grandfather, Bill Trent, was a driving force behind the founding of the UNCF (United Negro College Fund) and served in two presidential cabinets. The family legacy also includes many higher education teachers and three college presidents, further cementing their lasting impact on education, teamwork, and leadership.
