David Downing

David Downing, IT VP for DISH, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University. He spent several years working in the defense industry before entering the startup world in the late 1990s. After helping to build a successful niche consulting business, Dave went out on his own working as an independent systems integrator and business consultant. In 2004, Dave took a job in the UK supporting Vodafone’s mediation and billing replatforming efforts.

After moving back to the US in 2007, Dave joined DISH as a Program Manager. Although he left for a year and came back in 2009, Dave has had many roles since joining the DISH team.
