With over 25 years of experience, David is a visionary leader known for leveraging data, analytics and AI to drive business results and foster innovation. Mr. Crolene’s expertise in data management and generative AI technologies enables EXL to deliver outstanding client value and set new standards in the industry. He is dedicated to operational excellence and fosters strong relationships between technology and business stakeholders.

Before joining EXL, David served as Partner and Vice President of Delivery at Datasource Consulting, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a market leader. He also led significant data warehouse projects at Sony Electronics, Pfizer, and Teradata as a Senior Solution Architect. David began his career in consulting roles at Infowise Solutions and MicroStrategy, where he developed enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions. His early experience includes cost analysis and financial reconciliation for government programs at Management Consulting & Research, Inc.

David holds an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara. He is a published author, patent holder, and holds certifications in Teradata, Informatica, and AI business strategy. David is a recognized thought leader in the data and AI field, consistently driving innovation and excellence through his collaborative leadership style.
