Ben Poston

Ben Poston has been part of the IBM Cloud organization since its infancy with deep experience in compute and storage solutions based upon cloud technologies going back to 2003. After beginning his career in technical roles as an IBM IT Specialist and later an IBM Architect, he spent 11 years in a sales leader role leveraging his technical experience to understand client business needs matching up with IT solutions. During this time he specialized in cloud technologies, making him a natural for the IBM Cloud team when formed. After years as a sales leader, he returned to a technical position in technical sales engineering as a Business Solution Architect for Cleversafe (acquired by IBM Nov 2015, renamed to IBM Cloud Object Storage). In 2018 Ben returned to a sales leadership role as the North America geography leader for all IBM Cloud Object Storage sales where he is responsible for Cloud business
