Attila Kasza, MD, SFHM is a founding partner of the Chico Hospitalist Group and Chief Medical Information Officer at Enloe Health.
Dr. Kasza is a distinguished physician whose career spans decades of exemplary service, leadership, and innovation in the field of medicine. With a robust background in internal medicine and clinical informatics, he has continuously demonstrated a commitment to advancing healthcare delivery and patient care.
Dr. Kasza received board certification in Internal Medicine in 1995, with an additional designation of Focused Practice in Hospitalist Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2015. In 2016, he was recognized as a Senior Fellow of Hospitalist Medicine (SFHM) by the Society of Hospital Medicine. Additionally, he achieved board certification in Clinical Informatics from the American Board of Preventive Medicine in 2014.
Dr. Kasza has held numerous positions, including serving as Chief of Staff at Enloe Medical Center and as Medical Director of the Chico Hospitalist Group.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of San Francisco in 1985, followed by a Master of Arts in Biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1989. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1991. Dr. Kasza completed his internship and residency at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley program in 1994 and was a UCLA-Kennamer Fellow in Internal Medicine in 1995.
