Atilla Tinic

EVP, Chief Information Officer DISH Network

As Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO), Atilla Tinic leads IT strategy, delivery and operations for all of DISH’s pay-TV and wireless brands. His focus is on delivering next-generation platforms and solutions that advance all of DISH’s lines of business and enable the company’s 5G wireless network.  

Previously at DISH, Atilla served as Senior Vice President and CIO supporting DISH TV, SLING TV and DISH Wireless. In this role, his focus was on delivering best-in-class customer, employee and partner experiences across the company’s brands.

Prior to DISH, Atilla was a Senior Vice President within the Information Technology department of CenturyLink. His tenure with CenturyLink included leadership roles in Technology Transformation, Enterprise Business Support Systems and oversight of IT for the international regions. Atilla played a critical role with the CenturyLink system integration strategy and led large-scale efforts to consolidate CRM, Ordering, ERP, Billing and Network Inventory platforms.

Prior to this role, Atilla was the Chief Information Officer of Level 3 Communications where he was responsible for all global information technology functions. This included system architecture, application development and support, IT Operations and program management. The global IT team spanned across North America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and LATAM (Latin America).

​​Atilla’s Information Technology and Telecommunication career began with leadership positions at Bell Canada, Bell Sygma, Saville Systems, American Management Systems (AMS) and tw telecom. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and his Master of Applied Science from the University of Denver.
