
Angelic Gibson is a seasoned product and technology executive with more than 25 years of experience building differentiated software platforms, modernizing enterprise architecture, and transforming organizations into product-led, innovation-driven companies.
Angelic currently serves as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Insight Service Group (ISG), a national provider of integrated claim and litigation support services. In this role, she leads ISG’s product and technology strategy, advancing the platform capabilities that connect medical management, investigations, clinical services, record retrieval, and other critical services across the claims lifecycle. Her focus is on reducing friction, improving the speed and quality of information available to clients, and bringing new technology and AI-enabled capabilities to market that improve claim outcomes and create measurable value for insurance carriers.
Prior to ISG, Angelic served as Chief Information Officer at AvidXchange, where she led enterprise technology, product engineering, data, cybersecurity, and AI strategy during a period of significant scale. She played a key leadership role as the company grew from approximately $150 million to more than $450 million in revenue, while strengthening operating leverage and expanding EBITDA. Her leadership accelerated cloud modernization, advanced the company’s accounts payable and payment automation platform, drove AI-first productivity initiatives, and aligned product and technology investment with sustainable growth.
Throughout her career, Angelic has built and led high-performing global teams that translate market opportunity into scalable, secure, and commercially differentiated products and platforms. Prior to AvidXchange, she held senior leadership roles at TKXS, American Tire Distributors, Stony Brook University, and The Estée Lauder Companies, leading modernization and transformation initiatives that improved customer experience, operational resilience, and enterprise agility.
Angelic is an ORBIE CIO of the Year Award winner and multi-year finalist and has been recognized as a Forbes NEXT CIO. She is known for combining deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen and for partnering closely with executive teams and boards to turn technology, product, data, and AI strategy into business outcomes, competitive differentiation, and long-term enterprise value.
