Andy has worked in various IT and Information Security roles for the past 20+ years. He began his Intel career in IT factory automation, then moved into infrastructure, datacenters, and private cloud. For the past 8 years Andy has had roles focused within cybersecurity, specializing in the vulnerability risk and attack surface management spaces. Andy currently leads a team of security analysts in Cyber Defense who specialize in perimeter risk management, vulnerability analysis & mitigation, and red teaming. Andy has specialized skills in a variety of commercial and open-source cybersecurity tools and holds deep knowledge of blue teaming and defense in depth. Andy has a bachelor’s in information technology from the University of Phoenix, several cybersecurity certifications (GCED, GSEC, GPEN, GOSI, CCSP, CISM), and a masters in cybersecurity operations and leadership from the University of San Diego.
