André Allen is Vice President of IT at MaRS, where he is responsible for all internal systems, networks and applications used by MaRS staff. He is also responsible for cybersecurity and privacy, and serves as Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Privacy Officer. He is an experienced technology leader with over 20 years leading diverse technology teams. Andre also has experience as an entrepreneur in the IT managed services industry.

Before joining MaRS, Andre worked in a number of businesses and not-for-profits leading IT functions, including Unilever, CIBC, Brookfield Real Estate Services, Sirius Satellite Radio, Hyundai Auto Canada and CIFAR.
