Amy Lambert

Amy Lambert is the CFO at SteelSky Ventures. She brings 25+ years of financial services experience as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), with expertise across investment banking, private equity, fundraising, valuations and as a CFO for PE-backed companies.  Her broad experience spans many product areas and sectors, including healthcare, technology, telecom, consumer/retail, restaurants and consumer products, software, real estate, manufacturing and distribution, and more. Having worked across the spectrum of financial services, from PE and venture-backed organizations to merchant banking and family office environments, Amy brings a unique perspective to assist growth-oriented companies in maximizing shareholder value.  She has extensive experience working with companies at all stages, with specific expertise in middle-market business development to highlight growth levers required to meet financial projections. Amy also has deep experience building robust valuation models with a clear understanding to adjust based on market conditions and tailwinds and has led financial diligence efforts for M&A transactions across industries for high-growth companies.

Prior to SteelSky Ventures, Amy served as Chief Financial Officer for Quantum Wireless LLC, a telecom services business, and Quantum Wireless Networks, LLC, a private equity-backed telecom asset company focused on owning and operating DAS assets.

Amy previously led her own consulting practice, through which she provided financial services to boutique investment banking firms, family offices, and RIAs and directly to growth-stage companies in conjunction with capital-raising activities. Amy began her career with J.C. Bradford & Co. (acquired by PaineWebber and now UBS) as a financial analyst.  She has also previously worked at Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services, Interstate/Johnson Lane Corporation (acquired by Wachovia Securities, now Wells Fargo Advisors), and Stephens Inc.

Amy received her B.S. from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and has her CFA. Amy will be instrumental to the SteelSky Ventures team as our portfolio graduates to new rounds of funding and scales towards exits. She brings to SteelSky a deep understanding of financial health tracking across growth-stage companies that will deepen our commitment to be trusted and valued partners to our founders and LPs.
