Amit Thawani

Amit joined Lloyds Banking Group in October 2023 as CIO for Insurance, Pensions & Investments and has been in the financial technology industry for over 23 years now. Throughout his career, he has held key roles in India, Japan, France, Netherlands, Australia, Germany, and the United States, working with organisations including Oracle, BNP Paribas, ING, and Wells Fargo. Amit was initially drawn to the UK’s largest retail bank with its clear and noble purpose of “Helping Britain Prosper” and firmly believes that a unified vision, a strong partnership between business and technology, and a strong commitment to harnessing the power of future technologies will lead us to fulfill this mission.
